Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! It's hard to believe that 2006 is almost here . . .

We were quite spoiled again for Christmas this year (as you can see). Although, it was weird to just be the two of us! Between both of our families, we are used to quite the bustle of activity at the holidays. We certainly missed helping the nephews (and now niece) opening presents on Christmas Eve and visiting with everyone at my house on Christmas Day. I guess it was our chance to make our own traditions -- chasing Oscar around the tree . . . or perhaps Swedish meatballs (you'll have to ask Brandon about that one). Overall, it's been a good year and we are looking forward to everyone coming to visit us in 2006! Happy New Year!

The Karlee I know and love

I have heard rumors that Karlee is a highly motivated and overall exemplary Dr. However, when she is on a tough rotation this is the Karlee I see the most. I would have like to find a picture without Oscar so that everyone doesn't get an Oscar overdose from this blog, but it seems that he likes to sleep as much as Karlee. I hope everyone's Christmas shopping is almost complete. Have a great Christmas... we miss you all.

Our tree is empty because we've been doing ONLINE shopping this year . . . which means we're going to owe our families some wrapping supplies! Have a great Sunday!

Since I was having problems putting pictures on the blog, I haven't yet posted anything from our trip to Montana . . .

As you can see, Giarratana is beautiful AND we are very excited for our first niece! 

Oscar's First Snow

He was a little wary at first, but I think he's warmed up to the idea of snow. Now he keeps asking to go outside. It only snows here about every other year so we'll enjoy it while it lasts (just hope it's gone by morning!)

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello again! We have had some technical difficulties with the blog. I've had problems getting pictures onto it, but hopefully I've figured it out now.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. We have had a good weekend. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and had a friend from Billings eat with us. There was no shortage of food. He made three different pies (one for each of us I guess). After dinner and naps (of course) we went to a movie.

Yesterday, we went to a Huskies mens basketball game and then a women's volleyball game. Both were fun to watch (and both won). Then we started with our Christmas decorating. This will be our first year to have a real tree so it has been fun. I will try to post a couple more pictures of our decorations.

We are missing everyone this holiday weekend and wish that we could be closer. Hope you all have had a happy Thanksgiving!

PS: Number of times Oscar has knocked down our tree = 1 (so far) 

Montana

We've had a long hiatus . . . In the meantime we had a great trip to Montana. We saw lots of family, met our new niece, and even managed to get sick. It was all worth it.

We have a new niece!!!

Just a quick update to those who might not know. My sister had a girl this morning (no name yet) She was 8 lb 1 oz. Everybody is doing well and I will keep you updated when we have a name.

Well, we're counting the hours until we have a new niece/nephew. Today I think niece, but yesterday I thought nephew (so perhaps I'm not the best judge). For tonight, just a short quiz . . .

The Good news and the Bad news.

Bad news first . . . I'm in the hospital tonight and Brandon's at a comedian.
Good news . . . I have the entire weekend off. I'm so excited I'm counting the hours (only 14 more). No big plans, except for sleeping in and Pumpkin French Toast at my favorite restaurant. Sounds like fun!
