So many great pictures to catch you all up on, but I couldn't resist these. We are so lucky to have two beautiful kids -- and have had fun celebrating Christmas with them both this year. Hope you have had a great Christmas too!

Isaac's Half-Birthday

Amidst all of the hubbub of my trip to Florida, our trip to Montana, and Perrie's birthday, we didn't forget about Isaac's half-birthday. Happy 6-months Isaac! Isaac is cruising right along. He is trying lots of new foods and I have yet to find something that he doesn't enjoy. He has two new teeth and is sitting up on his own. Before we know it, we'll have another little toddler on our hands. I remembered this week that there was a big debate in the hospital whether to do Isaac's main surgery in July or wait until December. Wow, I am so thankful they decided to do it in July!

Perrie at 6 months

Perrie turns 3!

Today is our little girl's third birthday. People call the past year the "terrible twos", but I have to disagree. She has turned from a baby into a little girl right before our eyes. It has been great fun to see the world through her eyes. Today I tried to explain to her what a birthday means -- that conversation led to "where do babies come out"? (I artfully changed the subject.)

We were lucky enough to be able to celebrate her birthday in Montana with our family. Perrie loves seeing her cousins and my mom makes a mean birthday cake -- perfect for a successful birthday party.

Seeing the cousins is definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We celebrated her birthday with Nelson (holding Isaac), Basil, & Giarratana. Jameson was missing on the birthday night - off living the busy life of a teenager!

Perrie's favorite books are "Olivia, the pig". She has them memorized, so when she is in bed at night, we can listen to her "reading" them to herself. "OLIVIA, I SAID NO JUMPING!"
