What a weekend.

I can't believe how fast this last weekend went. My grandmother, aunt and mother came out to Seattle (after first visiting family in Portland) and we had a great time. I felt like we ate five meals a day when they were here. Some of the other highlights to the trip were finding MaryAnn a hat for the Kentucky Derby, driving aimlessly (but never was I lost) around expensive Seattle neighborhoods, and watching Grandma give our dog the evil eye. She isn't much of a dog person, but she did pretty well. She actually called our dog by name a couple times. The rest of the time he was labeled 'Dog', as in "Stay away, Dog."

I am so glad that we had this time to spend together. These kind of events are always too few and far between.

And...

North Shore, Gum Tree and Waikiki Beach.

The last of the Hawaii Pics

Since Karlee has officially quit posting anything on her blog, I guess it is up to me to get it done. These are the last of the Hawaii pictures that we didn't post earlier. The pics are pretty self explanatory, but regardless I will explain in short. Elaine at luau, Kelly playing a pineapple, Liza staring lovingly into Kelly's eyes, Brandon holding something at the Polynesian Cultural Center (I will assume they are weapons until otherwise informed) and Karlee at the Arizona memorial.

Magilla Gorilla

I know it isn't nice to say that your brother-in-law looks like a gorilla, but really, does any human get his finger caught in a coconut???

Back from Hawaii

Well the trip is over and work has begun again. How sad, huh?

We had a great time in Honolulu (or at least I did). I had three new foods while I was there that I wish could become a regular staple of my diet. Malasadas (a donut), coco puffs (another pastry) and Portuguese sausage. Now that I am back in Seattle, I have to start eating like a real person which is a bummer.

Anyway, I guess I will post a couple picture now (with more to come).
The first picture is of Terry and Elaine during our 1st meal at the Cheesecake Factory. Kelly and Elaine at dinner and Terry and Liza on the beach. This may be the only picture in existence that Terry is wearing shorts so enjoy.
