Paul & Jenny tie the knot!
Then we moved on to Portland for the wedding of our friends, Paul and Jenny. I have known Paul since college in Bozeman and he traveled across the entire state of Montana (Libby to Glendive) for our wedding! Their wedding was in a beautiful outdoor chapel, and the weather cooperated! We were able to catch up with many friends, including Eric & Alexis (now in Denver). Perrie even got to have a little kiss from their boy, Eli. It was a fun weekend - though cut a little short because Brandon got sick on the last night ... happily it wasn't a day sooner, but we missed out on seeing our Portland cousins! Next time I guess ...

Castle Rock
Catching up ...
In October, we had the chance to visit our cousins in Castle Rock while on our way to Portland. They have a truly broad and fun collection of animals that Perrie really enjoyed.

... but LOVED these two!

Labor Day Weekend
It looks like I have some catching up to do ...
Over Labor Day Weekend, we enjoyed a visit from Gma Elaine. She took Perrie to the playground a couple of times - (but Gma still needs someone to push her in the swing!)
Thank you for the visit, the new pajamas, and the crazy hairdo!
PS - I don't think that the matching outfits were planned...

Football season
Perrie is turning into quite the little character. For those of you who haven't seen her recently, she is a silly, happy little baby. OK ... not so little ... she is up to almost 21 pounds now (50th percentile) with a 95th percentile head. Her dad can take full responsibility for that one (he will claim more brains). She is talented at log-rolling and will tolerate standing if she has something interesting to hold onto - thinking about crawling, but not there yet. I have a lot of house-proofing left to do before that starts! She LOVES to eat - we have yet to find a food that she doesn't like. That makes it very easy to take her out to restaurants - just keep putting some food in front of her!

P.S. 9 MONTHS OLD!
Though I may be delinquent in posting pictures, I am surely not lacking in the photo taking department. I just checked ... 2,378 pictures on our computer since Perrie was born. Yikes - I am going to have to buy a lot of photo albums - ha...
Anyway, here is a little taste of how things have changed in the past 9 months. Besides the obvious, looks like I also started combing my hair again - which is good!

Gpa Terry & Gma Elaine
Earlier this month, we enjoyed a visit from my parents. It is not often that we get my dad here in the summer so we tried to take advantage of some beautiful Seattle weather!
We left Perrie alone with my parents on Friday while we worked.
Looks like she learned to talk on the cell phone ...

... and ended up with a curl on top of her head!

Picking raspberries ...

... in the rain!
