Spring ... Finally!

Spring is late this year -- but we made it up to Mount Vernon for the tulip festival last weekend. It turned out to be a beautiful day and was great to see the fields upon fields of flowers. I love spring!

More Gratuitous Baby Shots

Not much to say, but I couldn't resist these. It's fun to see them interact with each other!

Something is funny I guess.

Still more cousins!

Last weekend, we had lunch and caught up with a bunch of our cousins who were in town for the Mariners game. Perrie had fun smiling at Shelby and meeting Isabella -- she is just one month older than Perrie.

TWO new tricks ...

Yesterday was a big day. After lots of coaching and many tears (from Perrie, of course), she finally rolled over. I think that her grandparents were starting to worry that it would never happen, but here is my proof

As for her other "trick" ... not sure if all babies do this or if she picked it up from her nanny-share friend, Chloe. Nonetheless, this is what woke us up this morning. Imagine, our nanny gets to spend her day listening to two babies doing this --- she is going to have to get some earplugs! Come to think of it, maybe it's their secret baby language and they are plotting to conquer the world.

Bon Appetit!

At long last, Perrie had a gourmet meal of rice cereal for dinner tonight. I am sure that the amount actually reaching her stomach was too small to be measured -- BUT she seemed to enjoy a change of pace.

All done!

Easter 2009, etc...

Just thought this was a cute picture so I had to put it on. Oscar has been pretty good with Perrie. We will see what he is like when she starts moving around.

Some friends of ours, Josh and Laura, had a baby about a week before Perrie was born. Sadly we hadn't been able to meet up with them until a couple weeks back. It was fun to see Perrie and Lincoln side by side and even more fun to see how truly different they are. Lincoln has always been a big dude. I think Laura said he was 17+ at his four month appointment (Perrie was just south of 15 lbs). Also, Lincoln is rolling over all the time (Perrie not so much). I added a comparison of what Lincoln's tummy time looks like compared to Perrie. I guess we have a couch potato for a baby, at least compared to Lincoln. It was great to see them and hopefully some of Lincoln's tricks rubbed off on Perrie.

Last, but not least, Karlee and Chelsea organized some egg decorating. Perrie supervised with the help of her easter bunnies. I was a little upset that Chelsea didn't bring any dye over with a Terrier Purple option, as all the eggs would have been one color.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Snoqualmie Falls

Last weekend, we took advantage of the sunny weather and took a trip up to Snoqualmie Falls. It was a beautiful day and fun to get outside and enjoy some of the local scenery. Perrie enjoyed the short hike down to the base of the falls -- her dad's back didn't enjoy it quite so much!

Some of Perrie's friends ...

Shortly after Perrie was born, I joined a PEPS group. PEPS is an organization that tries to connect people with other new mothers in their neighborhood. We get together every week to chat & drink coffee. These are pictures from our recent visits ... unfortunately 3 of our babies were missing so you won't get the full effect!

Another trip to MT

I'm still working on updating on all of our March adventures. We recently returned from our second trip to MT -- this time to Terry & Wibaux. We had lots of catching up to do & tried to see as many people as possible. Time was short, but we had a great time!

Still working out those neck muscles!
