SPRING HAS SPRUNG!

I love spring . . . flowers are blossoming all over - it's beautiful. We were on a walk and I had to run home to grab the camera and share this cherry tree with you. My first tulip bloomed today, which I am quite proud of. Brandon would say that I have a black thumb so this is a major success!

No, I'm not trying to make all you Montanans jealous, but I am trying to tempt you to come visit. No snow here! The warm weather also has Oscar wanting to play outside more and more . . . he has a new-found fetish for tennis balls.

The blog has not been forgotten

I just wanted to let everyone know that we (read: Brandon) are still planning on putting up some new updates to the blog. The problem being is that we just got a new computer, so all the pictures we have are on the old computer. So in time, we will get some pics up and have something witty to say. Hope all is well.

Today is Oscar's 1st Bday. We bought him some new dog food bowls and a bone. Lucky him.

San Juan Islands (The Desert Oasis)

Karlee had the entire weekend off, so we packed up with some friends and headed to the San Juan Islands for a night. We had a great time. We rented a cabin by a lake (which was really nice), ate a ton, hot tubbed, and did a little wine tasting. When we were wine tasting, I looked out the window and saw what I originally thought was the saddest looking horse I had ever seen. When the 'horse' lifted it head from behind and exposed her whole body, I saw that it was actually a CAMEL!!! I guess some lady bought it off Ebay. To make a long story short, it was really tame and a little frisky if you look at the pictures. I'll try to get more pics of the trip up soon.
