Our fireplace is bringing new harmony to our house . . . everyone wants to cozy up in front of it (and I mean everyone).

All we need is a bearskin rug :)

Happy Valentine's Day

We're much overdue for an update . . . This month, Brandon's been down to San Diego for a work conference. My mom was in Seattle around the same time, and I was spoiled! I must say thanks for all of the cleaning, washing, folding, and dog-walking . . .

Seattle has a new "Olympic Structure Park" - with lots of outdoor art sculptures. I must admit, sometimes I don't always appreciate the art, but this big red one is kind of interesting. It's supposed to be an eagle (and hence all of the baby eagles in a nest next to it). The last picture is just Moka being the diva that she is. Hope that you have all had a good February!

Christmas present

Today we finally got our Christmas present for each other (at least part of it). We had a gas fireplace put in, but the front doors are still on backorder (so all of the knobs on the bottom will be covered up). It's a perfect year for a fireplace because we've had an unusual amount of snow so far this winter.

Our house is nice & toasty so come and visit us soon!
