YIPPEE

The last weekend of July brought a trip back to Montana for Brandon and Perrie. Highlights included driving a 4-wheeler and tractor in Wibaux, watching cornholing in the Terry park (apparently, that's what they do there for fun), AND...

Visiting with great-grandma Ausk

Swimming in the Terry OOL (note there is no P in their pool, hopefully Perrie kept it that way)

Getting hair fixed by Gma Jo (She must be happy to have someone else fix her hair once in a while - I'm a terrible stylist, especially with her curly mop!)

Not sure what this face is, but it's interesting

Dancing to the groovy live music of the Terry street dance

Playing kitchen with Grandpa (shirtless, of course -- it must have been hot)

and learning how to *wink* in the mirror!

Gma & Gpa Hall visit in July

July brought a visit from Grandpa Terry & Grandma Elaine. Highlights of the weekend were our trip to Emerald Downs to watch horse racing. We didn't win much money, but Perrie got to pet a racehorse and fill up with kettle corn. We traveled out to Carnation to pick raspberries and blueberries. There were plenty to choose from and our freezer is still filled with bags of berries to enjoy!

Goodbye Summer

Summer 2010 - the busiest on record. I have two months of pictures left to post (WAY behind), but first a tribute to the summer. Seattle weather has been cool and rainy. Seattle's weather genius tells me that this has been the worst summer since 1980 (nearly my entire life) AND the first 19 days of September have been the rainiest ever. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come!

Perrie's personality is really coming out now. She has some new silly trick every day. Some of her favorites include singing songs (twinkle-twinkle), saying 'hi' and 'ba-bye' to the spiders living in front of our house each morning, making her stuffed animals come to life, playing hide-and-go-seek ...

...Somersaults!
