Now that summer has finally hit Seattle, the kids head love spending their time outdoors.  Now that Isaac is walking on his own, he heads straight for the back door when he gets up in the morning...

July 2012 Update

Greetings friends and family,

I have been delinquent ... very delinquent.  So, in my attempt to keep this better updated --- enjoy these pictures from our last week.

Isaac and Perrie were playing so quietly under their mini-table.  Now I see why - yes, those are Big Bird stamps on his forehead.  Don't worry bud, you will be bigger than her soon enough.

Bathtime -- one of our favorite times around here.  I just can't get the two of them to stop drinking the bathwater - no matter how grossly I describe it.  ("bum-water" is my latest attempt - she still keeps drinking it.  gross)

Two exciting boxes have arrived for Perrie in the last couple of weeks - clothes from Gigi and dress-up clothes from Gma Elaine.  Thank you for the hours of fun!

Isaac started walking between people on his birthday, but didn't really decide to start walking by himself until this week.  Now we can't stop him.  Poor guy squints every time I take his picture -- makes it very hard to get a cute picture of him w/his eyes open!

2012 Family Photos

For Christmas this year, I decided that I wanted family photos taken to document the newest addition to our little family.  Spring is beautiful in Seattle so I really wanted to time the pictures with my favorite season -- cherry blossom time.  There is a really beautiful courtyard of cherry trees on campus.  We picked a date and crossed our fingers.  Sure enough, the blossoms came out a few days before our photos and it was a sunny Sunday (a little chilly, but still sunny).  Christy did a fabulous job capturing the personalities of Perrie & Isaac and we will enjoy the photos forever!
