Just in Time . . .

Well, we should have plenty of interesting pictures to come. We just returned home from our trip to London, Belgium, & Amsterdam with Jim, Jo, Jamie & Richie. We had lots of fun and took lots of pictures.

When we got in the first day, we headed to the London Eye. For those who don't know, this is a giant Ferris wheel with 32 large capsules for cars (that can fit probably about 20 people each). It goes about 443 feet up in the air. On a clear day, you can supposedly see for miles (ours was not a clear day). But, going up that high helps you see the layout of the city. It gives an especially pretty view of Big Ben, Parliament, & the Westminster Abbey. Luckily, our friend James moved to London in December so he was our fantastic tour guide during our stay.

I just read that the London eye broke down today and everyone was stuck in the capsules for several hours --- the view was nice, but I'm glad that wasn't us!

Stay tuned for more pictures!

I'm so very glad we weren't stuck up there. It was such a great time. I should have taken notes so I could remember everything. Jo
