When you are traveling across the state of MT in one week, there really isn't much time to spend in one spot. We spent the first day in Hamilton to see my grandpa (Happy 91st birthday!), aunt, uncle, & cousins. We had a fun dinner and stupidly left the camera in the car . . . bummer. My favorite quotes of the visit were from my Grandpa about Perrie: "Is that her natural hair?" ... "Is it naturally that color?" Unfortunately (for Perrie), I'm really not good at doing much of anything with her hair ... much less perming and coloring!! :) For better or worse, it's all natural!
Next we made the LONG drive across Montana - from Hamilton to Wibaux. Perrie was an excellent little traveler. We had lots of stuff to distract her with, but really didn't have any problems -- so thankful for that!!
Hitting the saddle with Lucky again ... too bad he lives in Montana! (PS - Based on the above discussion, you can guess that this is a grandma hair-do!)

There are just too many strange things about this picture NOT to include it!

Thank goodness for OLD toys ... these ones provided HOURS of quiet entertainment.

We managed to hit calving season in terrible weather! Why can't it be sunny & warm during our spring break?! Perrie was enthralled with the process though. I wish I had taken a picture of her wide eyes -- so exciting! She still talks about Grandpa Terry putting the baby calf on his motorcycle.

Not a baby calf ... Senor the mustachio'd cat.

(A mom hair-do...)

Motherhood must be one strong instinct. That calf is just a few minutes old and the cow would follow it anywhere!
Jameson, the busy 6th grader that he is, only had one free day while we were home. He was nice enough to spend it visiting us in Wibaux. It is fun to see Perrie playing with her cousins.
Jameson, Basil, Gigi, and Perrie (Nelson had to stay in Glendive)
Perrie clearly learns some important skills from her cousins!

More Lucky time!

The GIRL cousins!
Wrestling Basil ... trying, anyway!

Love seeing the cousins together. They are all waiting for Baby boy Ausk. G-Jo
Why doesn't that calf get to ride in the one with the couch cushion?
That one is saved for the special guests...
