Over the holiday weekend, we enjoyed a visit from Grandma Jo and Grandpa Jim. Jo had not seen Isaac since just before his surgery, so this was a great visit for everyone! Weather in Seattle has been beautifully perfect for the past month and this weekend was no exception. We were sure to take advantage of the sun.
Picnic at Carkeek Park -- beautiful beach weather.
Perfect for standing in the water and digging in the sand ...
Perrie sends Grandma Jo to get her buckets of water - what a little diva.
That is an impressive sand castle, ladies.
Perrie managed to drag the boys into the water too.
Isaac supervised everyone from the log.
On Saturday, we all had a great hike up to Wallace Falls - a group of 3 waterfalls outside of Seattle. The weather was just right and it was great exercise -- especially Brandon with a wiggly two-year-old on his back!
Middle Falls
Lower Falls
Perrie and Isaac with Grandma Jo and Grandpa Jim.
We even got to share in Grandma Jo's birthday celebration while she was here. I believe that it was a big birthday too . . . 30 years old, right?
Perrie also has to thank aunt Mary Ann for one of her new favorites ... her apron. She has been wearing it daily since then. (Nice pose, Perrie.)
