Some days (especially those rainy winter days), we have to be a bit creative about keeping ourselves busy. When I was little, I think they just sent me out to dress up kittens like babies or play with baby chicks ...
... we don't quite have that luxury. Here is one of our more successful ideas -- a superhero CAPE! It required sacrifice of a mid-90s t-shirt (I have plenty to spare) and a trip to the fabric store for some iron-on decals. It has provided endless fun. "Here comes SUPER PERRIE!"

Your chick pic was at the end of one of the "grandkids" most treasured days when they got to go to Miles City with Grandma & Grandpa to pick up the chicks. Of course, you had to be dressed up to go to the big city! HA -- love the picture anyway!
