This is a good example of our past week. Perrie got the game Spot-It for Christmas and she LOVES it. We play it, many times a day... The goal is to find the object on your card that matches the center card (as fast as possible). She was playing with our friend yesterday and told him, "sometimes, I trick my parents - I just yell out an object loud and take the card". Oh, we're in trouble.
I'll also highlight the giant pile of tissues next to Isaac. This has been the theme of 2014 so far - hopefully we are getting the viruses out of our system some time soon.

Mom, take a picture of me coughing.
And of course, Perrie has to play too.
SUPER-ISAAC!

Perrie & Isaac have been taking swimming lessons for about 6 months. Perrie has gone from being afraid to be in the water to working on diving in. It's great to watch! This is a photo that Perrie took of Isaac w/his teacher.
The grown-ups had a big adventure this weekend. We ended up with a suite at a Seattle minor league hockey game after a recent charity auction. We gathered our friends, booked the babysitters, and had a night out. Fun for all... and the Thunderbirds won in overtime!
This week, Perrie made me pretend to be sleeping & put this under my pillow. "Dear Mom, I hope to see you soon, Love the Tooth Fairy" -- This reminded me to document her inspiration ...
Flashback to November 9th ... my baby girl lost her first tooth!! She seems so little to start losing her teeth! I took Perrie to her first Husky football game that rainy evening. We were watching the game (& she was wiggling away on her loose tooth) and out popped the tooth!
She cried for a while because the blood scared her, but once we got through that episode she was pretty proud of her new space. And of course, the tooth fairy delivered glitter & four shiny quarters that night.
