Super Perrie!

Some days (especially those rainy winter days), we have to be a bit creative about keeping ourselves busy. When I was little, I think they just sent me out to dress up kittens like babies or play with baby chicks ...

... we don't quite have that luxury. Here is one of our more successful ideas -- a superhero CAPE! It required sacrifice of a mid-90s t-shirt (I have plenty to spare) and a trip to the fabric store for some iron-on decals. It has provided endless fun. "Here comes SUPER PERRIE!"

The Eyes of a 3-yr-old

"There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million."
Walt Streightiff

Perrie got her own digital camera for her 3rd birthday this year. It is quite fun to flip through the pictures that she takes throughout the day. They give you a bit of a sense for "Perrie's world"...

These are only the December shots...

Lucky, the horse. Too bad he lives in Montana.

Thumbs up, Kristine!

NINE?!

I am slacking again. Before Isaac turns ten months, let me post his 9-month update.

Isaac is growing like a weed - up to 20 pounds now. He desperately wants to be able to chase after Perrie, so prefers someone to help him "walk" around the house all day. His favorite time of day is dinnertime, and he will eat just about anything.

Hi Isaac

He won't sit still for 9-month pictures -- we did the best we could.

Perrie is also growing up before our eyes. She is really starting to look like a "kid" now and it was just yesterday that she was a little baby! I find myself frequently reminding her that I am Isaac's mom (not her) -- she takes great care of him. Just wait though, someday he'll be tormenting her & her friends and maybe he won't be so great!

Rain, rain - go away!

Bath-time!

Perrie at 9-months. Check out those chubby little cheeks!
